SEASONED PEPPERS
The Seasoned Peppers group consists of all steppers 50 years old and over. Do not let the age range fool you, we are just as spicey as the other age groups.
Andrea Steele is a Jacksonville native who started Line Dancing in 2013. She joined the Pepper Steppers because she likes the challenge of doing something new and different.
Peggy "Fire" Turner is a retired Educator that enjoys dancing, traveling and LIFE!
Wendy Combs works in St. Vincents OR and has a passion for saving marriages so as a result she became a Marriage Educator. She joined the group in June 2014. Wendy loves to dance found the Pepper Steppers at an event while she was Chicago style stepping.
Brenda began dancing with the Pepper Steppers in June, 2014 & was drawn to the group due to its spirit of fellowship & love of line dance. Brenda has been studying middle eastern belly dance for the past 18 years & performed with Troupe Basheera for 12 of those years. She studied western style line & partner dance for 6 years prior to that. She has diverse life interests including Reiki, yoga, travel, reading, sewing & training her dog, Bemari, who is the mascot for the group.
Renita Maiten is originally from Smithfield, VA. She arrived in Jax by way of US Navy. After her retirement from the military, she made Florida home with her family. Renita's life achievements besides her family are earning a dual Bachelors Degree with a Minor in Business Administration. She has a love for reading, outdoors activities, creating delectable desserts and dancing with the Peppers. She's currently employed with the FAA as a Management Program Assistant & Analyst.
